FAO Schwartz - New York City

baby changing facilities : 1 on Lower Level
equipment provided : a "family toilet" on the top floor which was locked. Nowhere to breastfeed. Lower ground level toilet had a baby changing unit on the wall, daiper disposal bin and basins nearby.
cleanliness : 3* Yup, they could do with some cleaning.
ease of access : 3* The locked "family toilet" on the top floor was difficult to get to from the escalator or lifts. Stupid location. The lower level loo was easy to find but very full of people.
number of rooms in building : 2 seen, and as I've mentioned - 1 locked. 1 tested.

comments : Unbelievable ! The biggest toy store in America, with marketing budget to match, and there's no toilet for.... er, who do you buy toys for again ? doh! kids, you idiots. They even have a state of the art baby goods area on the lower level, but all they can provide is a small toilet next to the books section, which was bursting at the seams with people. Not good, not good at all.
I ended up breastfeeding Zack in the Customer Service office with a job applicant sitting next to me. Bizarre !

interesting side note: you are the fourth parent I know who has complained of this problem...you'd think the customer service office would be tired of the situation and have effected changes!?
